The New Jersey State Science Day will be offered this year!! Since the 1950’s, State Science Day has inspired students in New Jersey to pursue careers in STEM. The competition was re-envisioned in 2021 to foster growth in science and engineering practices through authentic, community-based problem solving.
NJ State Science Day is a competition to encourage and acknowledge high school students’ use of science and engineering practices to design a solution to a current and challenging problem in their community. The New Jersey State Science Day is open to all New Jersey students in grades 9 through 12. Students compete as individuals. New this year... TEAMS! You may submit as a team of up to 3 people or submit individually. There will be winners in both categories! The 2023 Challenge is... The project that they create can be used as their Science Conference project which is MP4 Summative assessment.
